Can be done if the salt in the curry is high.
1. Raw Potato Slices: If you find the curry too salty, add a few slices of raw potato. The potato pieces will absorb the extra salt from the curry. Potatoes should be kept in the curry for up to 20 minutes. Peel and wash the potatoes before giving them.
2. Dough Balls: If the salt is too much, depending on the amount of curry, you can make dough balls and leave them in the middle of the curry. Usually two or three balls are enough. The flour can be boiled or made into balls of raw flour and added to curries. However, the ball should be removed while serving the food.
3. Cream: You can add cream to curries to reduce the amount of salt. This will add creaminess to the curry and remove excess saltiness.
4. Boiled potatoes: If the curry is too salty, you can add boiled potatoes to it. This will make the potato curry. Old curries will get new taste.
5. Yogurt: If you find the curry too salty, you can add a tablespoon of yogurt. It will reduce the saltiness and increase the taste.
6. Milk: Milk works like curd. It also balances the overall flavor by removing the saltiness in the curry.
7. Onion: You can use either raw or fried onions. If using raw onion, cut it into two pieces and leave it in the curry for a while and remove it. It will remove excess salt. And using fried onions will remove the salt in the curry and increase the taste.
8. Vinegar and sugar: You can add one tablespoon of vinegar and one tablespoon of sugar to the curry to keep the taste right. Adding sour vinegar and sweet sugar to the curry will balance the taste.
